ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon softened butter
  • 1 sweetened condensed milk cane
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon ground carmome
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • Coconut grated to put on at the end
  • Canola oil (for frying)

syrup:

  • 4 cups of water
  • 1 ¾ of sugar
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom

Steps 1:

Mix the dry ingredients together (baking powder, cardamom, flour).

Subsequently, mix the wet ingredients together (sweetened condensed milk, butter).

Add the dry ingredients in small portions to the wet mixture while stirring.

Refrigerate the mixture for 30 minutes.

Steps 2:

Make small dumplings with the dough, you can return to the fridge before cooking (prepare in advance)

In a saucepan, fry the meatballs in the oil for 3 or 4 minutes and drain

Steps 3:

In another saucepan, put the ingredients for the syrup and heat until the sugar melts.

When the mixture is hot, add the fried gulab jamun and cook for 3 or 4 minutes.

Let cool.

When serving, sprinkle with grated coconut dumplings.
